I reencoded Dissension, Three to the East at the more delicious bitrate of 192 kb/s. I highly recommend downloading these over their 128 kb/s counterparts if you have the extra bandwidth, or time to spare.

In other happy news, I have succesfully recovered the data off my dead harddrive. All for the low low cost of two american dollars. So expect to see the old songs to be reissued in higher ass kicking bitrates which are suitable for burning.
Well, the two songs I talked about in May are pretty much in the same state as they where back then. But Since I was determined to add something new here before I had to go back to school, I whipped up another Nintendo Remix. This one is From Rygar, and I call it Caverns of Sagila.
In other news, my hosts have this policy against hosting illegal MP3 sites. Well, I guess they didn’t know that there was such a thing as legal mp3s so they took it upon themselves to wipe every file ending in mp3 from my site without and notification or chance to defend myself. So if you have come here recently and where unable to download anything, I’m sorry for that. I couldn’t help that my hosts had an episode of Ulrich’s Disease, but I’ve spoken to them and hopefully this wont happen again.
For anyone who reads this, I am not dead or anything with my music. Just been set back a bit. If you read the main Six-Something.org page you’d know I have suffered a hard drive loss. All of my source Cakewalk bundle files are now sitting on a drive without working mechanics. Hopefully I can recover the data someday. My friend has an identical drive that we will let me swap the hardware with, assuming we find a start wrench small enough to get the screws out. If that fails, don’t expect to see City of Dust, Luna’s Empty, or Three to the East on any CD I put out. All I have of those are the 128 kbps mp3’s. And I’ll be damned if I put out a cd with audio on it with that amount of quality degradation on it. On the other hand, Shadow’s Theme and White Claudia, which I have encoded at 192 kbps sound fine when put on disk, so they have survived. Dissension and Rat and Plastic I had backup, so the high quality versions are fine.
In other news, I have two songs in progress right now in the alternate CGDAEG tuning. They’re pretty groovy and pretty different then the rest of the stuff here. hopefully I won’t take too longs getting them finished. I’d like to get enough songs together to start making some CDs for you good fans to purchase. That is all for now.
As promised, I have finsihed my rock remix of the Silent Hill Theme. Little something that I will slap the name “White Claudia” onto.

Little update today, the Screamin’ Whiz Bang section. Just a little bit of a basement session I drudged up. Please do not judge the rest of the music on this by these songs. These are just for humor.
Today is an exciting day people. I recorded my own version of Shadow’s Theme from Final Fantasy 3/6J. I used to love this song as a kid when i played Final Fantasy 3, and now I got my own stamp on it. This version is a little darker and a lot more grimey. Very cool indeed. The is the first thing I’ve ever recorded that has given me goosebumps.
Today I added the Early Midi Reflections exhibit. It contains a few samples of midis I did year ago of songs that have yet to reach a final state. Domain name still doesn’t seem to be functional.
Site launched, no domain name yet. Hopefully it will be soon. I just have the Primary song linked up right now. I should have some Developmentals up in a day or so.
